Legionowo

To the oldest and most precious monuments of Legionowo are:
- the “Kozłówka” residential park complex, at the Smereka street, with residence made of bricks and wood, built in 1885 with surrounding landscape park,
- a complex of barracks facilities, made of red bricks of the former tsar garrison, built in 1897 in the vicinity of “Kozłówka”,
- monuments of architecture of Poland’s twenty years of independence after the World War I, built in, so called manorial style, referring to the former noble manors, represented by: the “Orawka” residence at the Jagiellońska street and the residences at the following streets: Warszawska, Jagiellońska (“Rose”), Cypriana Kamila Norwida and also a tenement house on Mikołaja Kopernika street, built by the famous composer: Jerzy Petersburski.

Visiting Legionowo it is worth seeing John Paul’s The Second park, which is situated at the Piłsudskiego street in close proximity of the church under the invocation of the Holy Corpus and Blood Christi. There were some vespers in this park after John Paul’s The Second death.
